Due to the 20th anniversary because the inclusion of ancient city of Troy on UNESCO’s World Heritage List in the European Year of Cultural Heritage, the yr 2018 has been released as the “Year of Troy.” Throughout the yr, occasions had been organized to make the northwestern province of Çanakkale an global hub.

The competition has been prepared to encourage new filmmakers, bringing together short movies from various cultures and visitors and to develop international dialogue.
During the three-day event, brief films of various genres will be screened. Workshops, talks and panel discussions may also be prepared with the participation of specialists.
Actress Perihan Savaş, director of images Uğu İçbak, Professor Semih Arslanyürek, Professor Aytekin Can, Gökhan Tarkan and Alexandra Tvetzkova are a number of the jury members of the competition.
